A family-owned and -operated restaurant in Kamloops, Mittz Kitchen serves up delicious food in a homey, personalized atmosphere. A self-described “place for grub and grapes,” this spot offers lunch, dinner, brunch, and one of the best happy hours around.
We particularly recommend Mittz’s brunch menu. The menu boasts all the standard brunch staples, but with a gourmet flair. If you have a sweet tooth, the bourbon-pecan French toast with berry compote and whipped cream is definitely the way to go. If you’re more of a savory fan, the Which Came First is amazing. It’s a perfect combo of biscuits, fried chicken, eggs, bacon, smash browns, and a Tabasco gravy with a kick.
For those looking for a place to head after work, stop by during happy hour. Grab a beer for $4.50, wine and cocktails for $7, and highballs for $4. Pair it with some of the discounted bar bites and you’re good to go. It runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily, even on weekends!
